Café & Bakery Fit-Out – Devon
A long-established family bakery required a full internal redesign to modernise the space and improve day-to-day workflow. The existing setup relied on first-floor baking, with staff constantly moving hot food and ingredients between levels, creating inefficiencies and operational challenges.
The project involved a complete reconfiguration of the ground floor layout, relocating ovens downstairs and creating a more compact, efficient working environment. Works included new counters, flooring, ceiling, electrical upgrades and installation of dedicated extraction and air conditioning systems to manage heat and ventilation from baking equipment.
Additional improvements included new refrigerated storage, prep areas and a redesigned customer-facing retail space to better support coffee service, takeaway food and product display.
Delivered as a full refurbishment with all works coordinated to create a seamless transition from old layout to new.

Pharmacy Refurbishment – Devon
A former Boots pharmacy was taken over by an independent operator, requiring a full rebrand and internal reconfiguration to support new services and future growth.
The project included a complete strip-out and installation of a new dispensary, retail area and consultation room. Works involved new wall cladding, flooring, bespoke dispensary furniture, electrical and data installation, and updated signage to create a clean, modern healthcare environment.
An additional consultation room was constructed to enable expanded services including travel vaccinations and weight management treatments, supporting increased patient engagement and service offering.
The redesigned layout improved workflow efficiency within the dispensary while creating a more accessible and welcoming retail space for customers.
Since completion, the pharmacy has successfully expanded its patient base, benefiting from its proximity to a local GP surgery and an improved operational setup.

Office Fit-Out – Ashfords Solicitors
Office expansion and reconfiguration to create a larger boardroom, improved staff breakout areas and a more functional working layout.
Works included removal of existing partitions, construction of new stud walls, flooring upgrades and adjustments to lighting and services. The project was delivered in phases to allow the office to remain fully operational throughout.
Completed within 2 weeks with minimal disruption.

Retail Fit-Out – Plymouth
A full retail relocation project for a national second-hand retail chain, requiring a complete strip-out and fit-out of a new premises in Plymouth city centre.
The design and build focused heavily on security, durability and brand compliance, with bespoke solutions developed to safely display high-value items while maintaining a clean, accessible customer experience. Works included installation of secure display units with sliding glass doors, custom-built counters, bay window displays and dedicated buying areas.
Significant planning went into the internal layout to balance customer flow, staff visibility and secure storage, alongside the integration of back-of-house areas, offices and stock rooms.
The project also included new flooring throughout, suspended ceilings, full electrical and lighting upgrades, and installation of bespoke joinery including post-formed worktops and custom display systems to meet brand guidelines.
Delivered as a full commercial refit with a high-quality finish across both customer-facing and operational areas.

Harbour Chippy – Counter Refurbishment, Newquay
A focused refurbishment project to upgrade the main serving counter in a busy coastal takeaway, carried out during the off-season shutdown to avoid disruption to trading.
The brief required a durable, hygienic and highly functional counter design, tailored to the operational needs of a fast-paced food environment.
Works included the manufacture and installation of a bespoke counter featuring solid surface (Corian-style) worktops for ease of cleaning and longevity, along with a CNC-machined decorative front to enhance the visual finish.
The counter was designed with practical considerations at the forefront, including an integrated point-of-sale position, access hatch, and a removable section to allow for maintenance and replacement of equipment such as freezers.
Additional works included power and data integration, lighting improvements and finishing details to tie the new installation into the existing space.
